Hello and Welcome to the Timeless Twine New Color Release Blog Hop!
You should have arrived here from my teamie Amy Kolling's blog
If not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the blog hop so that you don't miss any of the fun
Here's my card:
I braided the twine with a total of 9 strands...I struggled figuring out an easy way to do it. I tried several times to get my washi tape to help me out but no such luck:
I have a "Clip it Up" so I used one of the many stray clips that I have on my work desk...that worked like a charm...9 strands of twine and all!
In order to accomodate the bulk of the twine, I decided to put my card panel on foam dots so that the panel wouldn't 'buckle" from the twine.
This natural is gorgeous....
You can easily ink it up with your copic markers or whatever you have on hand!
Two lucky hoppers will win a spool!

This is gorgeous! I love the braided twine. The clip is so smart. It reminds me of the days I'd have thread pinned with a safety pin to my jeans to make friendship bracelets.
Awesome, Amy!! The braiding is wicked cool, and using the clip was a great way to do the braiding. The mix of patterned paper and flowers you used are so cheerful. :)

This is a fabulous card, love everything about it, Amy, love the braided twine. If you want to place twine on a card and insure that it won't come off, take each piece, treat like thread, thread a large needle, make two holes in the card stock from the back and take through your strands one at a time, then when you have what you want, bring the strands together and braid. On the back place a circle of card stock to cover the holes and BT, glue down secure and it should not rip out. If you are going through designer paper you will have to back it before you do the holes. I love your clip idea, just giving you an option for the next time. I do this with bows and other things I wish not to come off. Have a fun evening!
Your card is so adorable, and I just love the natural timeless twine!!!

So bright and cheery. I love the rope you made. The natural twine is very nautical looking. The braided rope would work as a 'ribbon' on a guy card, too. Thanks for the idea.
